Life on Our Farm: Photo Galleries

Gallery One: The Birth of a Bale
With over 50 registered Scottish Highland cattle along with several horses, making our own hay is a big project each year. This series of photos shows some of the steps to birthing a bale!!! :)

Gallery Two: Rotational Grazing
We partition off sections of our pastures and rotationally graze our registered Scottish Highland cattle. This provides our cattle an endless supply of fresh lush pasture, as well as allowing our fields recovery growth time.

Gallery Three: A Yummie Winter Meal
We primarily use our hay for winter feed. It is a process to move the huge round bales from the barn where they are stored into the pasture.

Gallery Four: Magical Manure
Using organic and sustainable methods, we use manure to fertilize our fields and our vegetable gardens.

Gallery Five: Our Bountiful Garden
Here are a few shots of our bountiful annual harvest. We produce about 75% of our own food.
